02.11.2015 | Categories: News & EventsThe Chinese third quarter Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for 2015 was 6.9 percent. This came in higher than the market consensus of 6.8 percent and significantly down from the astounding annual rate of more than 9% per year between 1990 and 2010.
The two-week-long rally in the rand seems to have been decisively broken. On Friday the 16th of October, it touched the R13 to the US dollar mark, but did not bolster beyond the mark amidst Chinese GDP data released on Monday.
